Jackson has been watching "Ice Age" and "Ice Age the Meltdown" lately. He asked me yesterday what "extinction" meant. It was really tough to explain, and even tougher to help him feel OK about it. He was devastated that he would never see a saber tooth tiger or mammoth in the wild. While we were driving down to my parent's place he came to a conclusion that he can accept.
Jackson: "When I grow up and turn into a man and die and go to heaven, I can't wait to see a woolly mammoth!"
