I'm a Genius

Jackson spent the evening drawing series of events using both sides of a sheet of paper--a rocket blasting off to the moon, a hunter throwing a spear at a mammoth--and when he put the finishing touches on his last series, I heard him shout: "I'm a genius!"

Mikey immediately started yelling, "I'm a genius too!" and Jackson yelled back that Mikey couldn't be, because he threw crayons. After I convinced Jackson that we could have more than one genius in the family, I asked him what he thought a genius was. "That I'm proud of me," he said.

These are the drawings (and the story) that started the debate. He drew in crayon, which doesn't appear to scan the best.

A man drives his car up the biggest mountain. Then a giant snowball comes out of the hole in the mountain. The car jumps over the giant snowball and snow going down the mountain, and when he got to the cave at the top, there was…a yeti! The end.
