As if a day at a huge pool wasn't enough, when we got home last Thursday, the boys took an impromptu romp through the sprinklers. Jeff was home early from work and was fixing the sprayer direction, and the boys took the opportunity to get wet again.
Charlotte was torn between taking Jackson's beloved Doodle Pad and trying to figure out if she could crawl down the stairs and join in the action.
After the boys got nice and soaked and grassy and muddy, we had to strip them down and dry them off on the front porch. As is customary around here, they both demanded to be "burrito boys," and refused to put on clothes for at least an hour.
You can see how our fence is coming in the background. It is actually starting to look like a fence now! Thanks to all of the friends and family who have come over to lend a hand. We still have to finish the trellis above the gate, put up some trim pieces, and figure out how to build the gate itself. If we keep up the pace that we have been going, we may have a finished fence by the end of the summer.
