Where a Kid Can be a Kid for Ethan's Party

Saturday was our nephew Ethan's 4th birthday party. He belongs to Matt (Jeff's youngest brother) and Christina. We went to one of the kids favorite places - Chuck-E-Cheese. The boys had a ton of fun with their cousins eating pizza and playing games. We even got into the action and got hooked on some of the games so that we could "help" the boys win more tickets so that they would be able to buy more lollipops and rubber lizards, snakes, and dinos.

The kids loved this shooting game. You actually are shooting peanuts into the mouths of hungry zoo animals.

Mikey is already showing great form with his free-throw shooting. With the help of Jeff's height, he actually made a few baskets.

Charlotte enjoyed the Barney train ride with light up buttons. I'm happy there was a seat belt, because for a toddler ride, the Barney train really bucks the kids.

I don't know why the kids like this ride so much. It takes them around the dial of the clock. Jackson only made it around once for some reason. Guess who put on his own shoes? Ouch! How can kids not notice when they do that?

Mikey's favorite part of any party is cake time. He loves the singing and the candle blowing and especially the frosting. Maybe for his next birthday I'll skip the cake and just give him a tub of chocolate frosting.

Thanks for a great time Matt, Christina, and Ethan!
